MISSIONARY IN PERIL
IN LONELY CHINESE PROVINCE CHAPEL LOOTED. Australian and .V.Z. Cable Association. PEKING, November 21. The local mission authorities have been informed of a student outbreak at Nonchowting, in the Hunan province, where Mr F. G. Draffin, an Australian missionary, is located. They looted the chapel, which was badly damaged, but Mr Draffin and his wife escaped personal injury. The district is one of the loneliest in the whole of China. The looting is one of many inspired by the approach of the Cantonese army. Tho position of ail foreigners in the vicinity is precarious.
