WELLINGTON NAVY LEAGUE
QUEEN CANDIDATE. By advertisement in to-day’s issue all members of the Xavy League are asked to attend a general meeting in Bethunc’s auction rooms, Brandon street, on Tuesday, November 23rd, at 8 p.tii., to form committees for the purpose of organising the campaign in lavour of Miss Noeline Bevan, who is taking Che part of “Britannia” as the Navy League queen candidate in the grand naval and military pageant and searchlight tatoo, to be held at Newtown Park during the visit of the Duke and Duchess of Y'ol7» to Wellington in March next year.
