SHOT IN CHEST
PATIENT ESCAPES FROM HOSPITAL. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, November 19. Paul Linklater was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital at 1.30 a.m. on Thursday suffering from a gunshot wound in the chest, and he escaped from the hospital at 3 o’clock this morning. Linklater, who is 36 years of age, came from Kaiapoi. He was wearing a white hospital garment.
