“DIVINE HEALING"
MISSION AT PENTACOSTAL HALL BY MR VAN EYK. Mr Fred Van Eyk, the noted evangelist, is still conducting his mission nt the d?enteostal Hall, Vivian street. Every night cures are being reported through divine healing. Miss Harmer, of 10, Kenwyn terrace, Newtown, informed a “Times” representative that she had been deaf for 15 years, but now she could hear almost perfectly. Another lady, a Mrs Neill, of Coromandel street, stated, that after twenty years of deafness she could hear a gramophone without using an ear-trumpet. Miss McKenzie, of Walter street, who had suffered from nervous and internal troubles, and who had not been able to eat a proper meal for two months, is now cured. A young girl, Miss Mavis Bentley, has been cured of catarrh. All the people say that they have never felt better. Last night a number of people came to be healed, and in every case the cure was pronounced to be successful. The mission will continue for some time yet.
