BRITAIN AND EGYPT KING’S DECLARATION. Published in “The Times.” (Received November 19, 7.15 p.m.) LONDON) November 18. The Cairo correspondent of “The Times” says that King Fund, when opening Parliament, emphasised that Anglo-Egyptian relations were most friendly, and mutual confidence was daily growing stronger. Zagnlul Pasha was re-elected President of the Chamber. Ho said lie prayed that the Almighty would help Parliament to safeguard the Constitution and preserve the country from intrigues. It was noticeable that students greeted the King as he was driving to Parliament with pro-Znghlulist cries. This suggests that the Wnfu (Zaghlul’s organisation) is reviving, as students’ activities were formerly its outstanding feature.
