IMPUDENT FRAUD

DISHONEST TRUSTEE CLAIM FOR MONEYS ADVANCED Per Association. WANGANUI, November 19. An interesting case in which James Stuart claimed from Frank Hedgman £1024 for moneys advanced from time to time to be looked after by Hedgman, concluded in the Supreme Court to-day before Mr Justice Reed. Judgment was entered for the plaintiff for £S2G 14s lid with costs. The judge said that he-could not help remarking that t it was an impudent fraud. The evidence had shown that Hedgman had acted as a sort of adviser for Stuart, and got him to send from time to ftfne his earnings, stating that he would look after them for him. Stuart could not got a statement of how affairs stood.
