SAUSAGES WITH TOMATOES

Take some cold sausages; if there are only two or three, chop and nut into a piedish. Skin three or four tomatoes, slice these and place on top of sausages. Now prepare a teacupful of well-seasoned white sauce, pour it over th« tomatoes. Sprinkle with a grate of cheese, and then with a layer cf fine breadcrumbs. Bake until brown. •
