WITH CABBAGE

Chop corned beef and put it in « piedisli. Ordinary cooked meat will do. but it should be seasoned with pepper and salt. Well boil a good firm cabbage, drain, and chop it. Put a -layer of it on top of the prepared meat. Make a teacupful of white sauce and pour it over the cabbage. Now sprinkle with fine breadcrumbs, and here and there a few dots of butter. Bake until slightly browned.
