WOMAN’S GOOD RIFLE SCORES

A remarkable rifle-shooting score has been made by a woman, Mrs W. L. S. Alton, at the National Rifle Association’s meeting at Bislev. Firing seven shots at 200, 500, and 600 yards, Mrs Alton made the high score of 102 out of a possible 105 points, the best score ever made by a woman. With her 21 shots, Mrs Alton made 18 bull’s-eyes and three inners. She scored bull’s-eyes for all seven shots at 200 yards, six at 500 yards, and five at GOO yards.
