SELECTION OF UMPIRES, Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH. 'November IT. At a meeting of the Canterbury Cricket Association, the Otago Cricket Association wrote suggesting to other associations that lor the Plunket shield matches the home association submit to the visiting association tho names of not fewer than four umpires; the visiting team to make a selection, the names to be submitted at least two days before the match, and replies from the visiting association to be in at least four flays before the match. The resolution met with approval.
