Nine coalmining districts thus far have decided in favour of the acceptance of the terms of settlement. They include
. Rhondda Valley, which is regarded as significant. South Wales’s decision to accept the terms, as a matter of loyalty to the Miners’ Federation, gave a most important lead. • Secrecy is maintained in Yorkshire, but it is reported that the prosposals have been adopted by an overwhelming majority.
