WOMAN DRINKS POISON
MAN SLASHES WRIST Yesterday a woman named Mrs Mo Grath, residing at l~3a, Dixon street, was admitted to the hospital suffering from the effects of poison. The hospital authorities reported last evening that she was making satisfactory progress. A tramway employee named Harrv Poynton, residing at No 27 Roy street, Newtown, was admitted to the hospital yesterday suffering from a self-inflicted slashed wrist. He was reported la«t evening by the hospital to be progressing satisfactorily.
