WEEK-END ACCIDENTS
Per Press Association. David Gardiner, 5 years of age, fell from a delivery van at Whangarei on Saturday and fractured the base of the skull. Aliriam Sword feH from a motorbicycle when pillion riding on Sunday, at Whangarei. Her skirt caught the spokes of a wheel, and the victim was whirled round several times. Miss Sword was taken to hospital with a fracture at the base of the skull. William Regan, a motor-cyclist, swerved *to avoid a motor-car near Waiotira, fell and broke a leg. He lay on the side of the road for two hours till picked up and taken to the Whangarei Hospital. The occupants of the car were unaware of the accident. ■ ' • R"oy Wiblem, also his younger brother, Alan, sons of W. Wiblem, gas mahager at Pahiatua, were both injured at their home on Saturday afternoon within an hour. The former fell over a wire fence and broke his nose, and Alan fell from a clothes line post and fractured his left arm. . BOY DROWNED AUCKLAND, November 15. Edward Clements Neville, aged 7 years, son of William James Neville, of Northcote, was found drowned in a creek " where he had been fishing. body~Tdentified AUCKLAND, November 15. The dead body found in the Alanukau Harbour has been identified as that of Alfred Linton, who recently conducted a store. SUDDEN DEATH FOXTON, November To. Allan C. Trevelyan, single, ag#d 38 years, a motor-driver, died suddenly yesterday. An inquest is to he held. Deceased’s parents reside at Taradale, Hawke’s Bay.
