PHYSICAL CULTURE

A display of pliyiscal culture was given in the Y.W.C.A. hall on Saturday night uf the various classes in the health school conducted by Mrs Fuller. The pupils range from quite tinies to adults, and they gave a varied programme of free movements, games, and different calietlienic exercises. The little ones were very delightful and amusing in some of their games, which ranged tram the Kindergarten stage.' Nursery rhymes were given and some of the young ones showed themselves ns promising actors. The Swedish drill and free exercises were interspersed with games, showing that the children were not made tired by any one thing, and the older pupils showed a keenness and aptitude in the work which must be very encouraging to their teacher. The display showed that the school is more than justifying its existence, and filling a need in the lives of the #oung women, both in and out of .association.
