The jilry deliberated for three hours and gave a majority verdict for plaintiff. with £1350 damages. His Honour said he proposed to reserve the question as to what Was to happen to the money nwarded as clamages until ho had heard a petition against respondent on his return from Gisborne next week. Petitioner was allowed coats on the highest scale.
