Defects in the electrical signalling system between Lower Hntt and Haywards, brought about by the boisterous weather, resulted in the outwardbound Napier express being delayed for some minute* at Lower Hutt on Stnnrday morning, and in minor disorganisation of up and dmvn traffic. No serious delays mrnrml. however, and well before midday the faults had been : adjusted*
