pionship series on Saturday at Trenthara, the match being 10 shots at 300yds and 10 shots at 500yds. Despite the effects of a choppy southerly, which necessitated frequent changes in windage, some excellent scoers were made. At 300vds F. Ching made a possible and Deputy-President H. V. Croxton and A. V. Swanson only failed to gain the same honour by one point. At 500yds F. Ching scored 46, while H. V. Croxton and A. V. Swanson each scored 48, their totals being 07 out of a possible 100. This match concluded the club’s second fortnightly competition, the results being:—Scratch men: A. V. Swanson 190, H. V.
