GENERAL LAWLESSNESS REIGNS Reuter’s Telegram. (Received Juno 16, 12.50 a.m.) PEKIN, June 14. Following on local fighting between tho northern and southern troops in Hunan, general lawlessness reigns. The northerners killed an American missionary. - There are indications that the chaotic situation may result in tho resumption of war between north and south.
The Government at Pekih is torn asunder by opposing cliques, and hesitates. to adopt a definite policy.
