, HELD UP BY FOG. HEAVIEST IX LYTTELTON FOR -MANY. YEARS. PEH PH ESS ASSOCIATION. CHRISTCHURCH, Juno 15.. The ferry steamer Wahino was again hung up at Lyttelton to-night by a very heavy fog. She was ready to sail for Wellington at 8.25 p.ra., hut it was impossible to get her outside tho moles. At 10. TO p.m. there was no sign of the fog lifting. At later message stated: —At midnight the Wahino was still at tho wharf and there was no immediate prospect of her sailing as the fog was still very dense. Captain Edwin, of the Wahino, and Captain Marciol, Government Marino Superintendent, state that to-night’s fog is tho heaviest experienced in Lyttelton for very many years. Tho Waliine has a number of passengers to connect with the Pacific liner Marama at Wellington.
