SAFE IN PORT
STEAMER HAVRE REACHES NEWCASTLE. Bv Telesranh— Press A ssn.—Copyright NEWCASTLE. June 14. *Tho Havre arrived on Saturday night, and entered port at daybreak. Both tug and tow were greeted by other steamers. The Havre's masts were stripped of the derricks, which were utilised as firewood to keep tha wireless dynamo going. Captain Rule related that- he - had had an anxious time since leaving Dunedin. Tempestuous weather was encountered at times, and tho Havre threatened to turn turtle.
