Heavy falls are still recorded in the western districts, and it is now stated that tho drought is definitely broken. The wheat position is serious. Praoticallv all the mills are closed, and the Government is again seeking assistance from Victoria. ' TORRENTIAL FALLS. (Received June 14. 11.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, June 14. Rain, which is officially described as the best since the commencement of the"'drought, swept the greater part of the State,' the falls in many parts being described as torrential. The forecast for the Royal visit is not Hopeful,* as another extensive disturbance is reported to be due during tho next - forty-eight hour 3, causing a return of unsettled and rainy weather.. RUSHING STOCK TO PASTURES. (Received June 14, 11.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, June 14. As the result of the rains the Railway Department is rushed with applications for the return of starving stock to the ordinary pastures.
