TRAINING CAMPS
THE WELLINGTON PATES. In -place of tho customary 'Territorial training camps, General Defence Headquarters has decided tha-t this year there shall be held four training camps for the training of and non-commissioned officers of the Territorial Force and Reserve. The four compulsory classification courses for tho Wellington , military district will be held at General Headquarters Camp, Trentham, and at tho Ports, Wellington (for garrison artillory -only) on the following dates: — First course, Friday, Julv 9th till Saturday. July 17th; second course, Friday, ' August 27th, till Saturday, September 4th; third course, Friday, October 15th, till Saturday, October 23rd; fourth course, Friday, November l'Jth, till Saturday, November 27th. These four periods havo been solectcd to accommodate and provide for the requirements of the district as a whole ; no excuse for iion-attend-auce other than extreme ill-health, certified to by a medical officer, will bo accepted. Officers and non-commission-ed officers of the New Zealand Expeditionary Forco with overseas service will not bo required to attend any of the above classification courses, but may do so voluntarily. Arrangements have been made for officers and noncommissioned officers to send in their names, stating which course it will suit them to attend.
