Compared with May, the best combing merinos declined 20 per cent., and Continental sorts end —sooureds , I<J per ... cent. Faulty carbonizing recovered slightly during the sales. Crossbreds improved gradually, and closed 10 Per cent, down. For slipes and sooureds there was fair demand, but they wore largely withdrawn.
