The Englishmen ployed the third match of the tour before a packed ground, in fine weather. New South Wales, from the kick-oil. showed they were a superior team, forcing Die game to the visitors’ twenty-five, whore, except for occasional futile dashes on the
part of tb.e Englishmen, the ball stayed. The scores at half-time were:—JNew South Wales. 21; England, 2. During tho second, half the Englishmen played up, but failed to reach tn© standard of the liome team's play. The final scores -were; New South Wales, 42: England, 6. ’ The scorers for New South Woles were Burge (three tries and mine goals), Gilbert (a try), Pearce (a try), McGovern (a try), Latta (a try). Fraser (a try), Robinson, (a try). For England, Orodnow kicked three goals.
