ORGAN RECITAL.
Mr Bernard Page (city organist) started his third hundred of recitals with tho repetition in full (by special request) of his two-huudredth recitaj, tho items of which were Pachelbel s “Ciacona,” Harvey Grace’s ‘‘LegendCop. 1), d’Evry’s “Idyllo” and “An Soir ” Silas’s “Fantasia.” (op. 117), the Prelude to Act iii. of ‘‘Tristan and Isolde,” and the two perfectly beamful Cesar Franck pieces “Pastoral© (op. 19), and “Finale” in B flat (op. 21). d’Evry’s “Au Soir” was again enthusiastically encored, and Mr Pages playing was quite equal to his best, the tremulant, which last week gave the organ somewhat tho effect of a jazz band, was much bettor this time, though still an annoyance. Tho attendance was an improvement on last week’s; but there is ■ still room for more.
