PURCHASE OF THEIR SHOPS SUGGESTED. A Press Association message from Auckland stated that, replying to a protest by shopkeepers against Asiatio competition, Mr Massey says the question of amending the Immigration Restriction Act will haye consideration in the legislation of the coming session. He asks for further particulars in regard to a suggestion that the Government should legislate to buy out the Asiatic shops.
