RECORD PRICES OBTAINED. PEE PEESS ASSOCIATION. NEW PLYAIOUTH, June 11. There was a large attendance from all parts of the North Island at the sale of xiedigree Jerseys held by Mr Newton King, on account of Sir F. W. Cornwall, Bell Block, tliis afternoon, some record prices being realised. Thirty-three cows totalled 3401 guineas, and the best prices were:— Rosalind’s Girl —Messrs Murray Bros. (Opotiki), 367 guineas. Belle Alalone—Air Bert. Luxton (Ornata), 275 guineas. Kotiro —Messrs Alurray Bros., 201 guineas. Illusion—Mr D. Alalone (Eiveriea), 175 ■ guineas. The bull Holly Bank Squire was sold to Messrs Murray Bros, at 220 guineas. , , _ At a clearing sale on behalf or v>. W. Raube, Westown, on Wednesday, good prices were also obtained. The cows Waiwetu and Trump Lily went to A. Sharpe (Alatapu) for 200 guineas; Avoca's Lady to J. Fulton (M hapcarata, Auckland) at 200 guineas; and Omoto (Queen to W. Osenham (Uruti) at 161 guineas
