RAILWAY DISPUTE
PROGRESS OE E.F.C.A. BOARD. EVIDENCE PRACTICALLY COMPLETE. The special oonciliartion board, which is dealing with the E.F.C.A. aspects of the railway dispute, lias, it is understood, finished taking evidence, with the exception of that of a witness who has Imcn aw ay from Wellington, and who is to bo. called on Monday next. The board commenced the consideration of its report yesterday, the first objective being to arrive at an agreement as to the basis upon which to proceed. It is expected that the report will bo completed on Tuesday next; hut it will not he available for publication until tbo .board that is to consider the ccisc of the Railway Officers’ Institute has also reported, and all three reports have been submitted to Cabinet.
