The Confederation j>f Labour .urges seamen, raihvayiaen,, ’ s9Pk, B ,workers,, and. postal workers to ■ joiu in a boycott of Hungary.
A recent message stated: —The British Labour delegation which visited Hungary reported that many , caeca of murder, torture, and wrongful imprisonment of workers were substantiated. The • responsibility rested -on the gendarme reserve, consisting of army officers and non-coms., whom the Government was unable to control.' The Hungarian Government acknowledged the existence of the “white terror” against workmen and the Jews, and announced the relentless application of martial law against the perpetrators of murder, arson, and other crimes against classes, nationalities, or scots, for which the death penalty would be proclaimed.
