Tho Rhodes Scholar Selection Com* mittee is to meet at Government House at 10 o’clock this morning for the purpose of selecting a Rhodes scholar for New Zealand in place of Mr H. A. Mackenzie,’ who has relinquished his scholarship in .order to take up an N.Z.E.F. scholarship, which ho is now holding in France. There are two candidates for the Rhodes scholarship—one from the University College, Auckland, and the other' from Victoria University College, 'Wellington'. * **
