I RESIGNS FROM FEDERAL CABINET. Australian and N.- Cablo Association. (Received June 9, 7.10 p.m.) LONDON, June 8. Mr W. A. Watt, Australian Treasurer, dias resigned from the Cabinet, as telegrams exchanged since his arrival indicate variance with his colleagues on important issues connected with his mission. (Received June 0, 11.40 p.m.) LONDON. Juno 9. The newspaper's give prominence to the report of Air Watt’s - resignation from the Federal Ministry. The ‘‘Daily Chronicle” describes it as a surprise resignation, and adds that he wanted to discuss with the Homo authorities certain problems connected with emigration to Australia. Air Watt went to London in connection with various Australian problems, notably finance and the wool . question.
