BROOKLYN HARRIERS
The weekly run of the above club van held at Bellevue Cardens, Lower Hutt, on Saturday. C. Cummins and O', tjmg had charge of the paper, ami' laid an excellent trail, the run being the most enjoyable held this year. Two, pacKs were formed, a slow pack of 14 runners having 15 minutes start. Tho fast pack, consisting of the team selected for the FTdmnnd Cup race at Dunedin on Saturday next, indulged in a fast 8$ miles, the pace being on all the way, and j urging bv Saturday’s run the team ; ill give a great account of themselves in pert week’s big event.. A run In of 150 rands resulted—O. Quig 1, J. Qreig 2, S. Hill 9. After tho run members and friends, including a large number of lady mpporters, sat down to an enjoyable after noon tea. Sir Bristow (vice-president) wished the team every success at Dunedin. and honed that Harriers and Athletes would turn out in larpe number*, and give the team a rood send off *rom the wharf on. Wednesday night.
