June It is reported that Persian Demo, crats besieged the German 1 Consulate at Tabriz on June 4th. demanding tho surrender of Persian Bolsheviks who were in refuge there. The Consul (Herr Wustrow) refused, and turned machine-guns on the crowd. The Democrats retaliated, compelling-the Consul to enter into negotiations. It transpired later that Herr Wustrow committed suicide. Wustrow was expelled from Teheran during the war, and since has been persistently inciting Hie Bolsheviks and Turks against the British.
