A civil action, in which V enable* ana Ashbridge, laud and estate agents, claimed the sum of £23 los from William Thomas Marehment as com* mission on the sale of a property, was heard before Mr W. G. Riddell, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court, -yesterday The plaintiffs, it was stated, had placed in their hands by the defendant a property for sale for £BOO and subsequently the defendant sold the premises for £750 to a person who had been first interviewed by the - plaintiffs. , The magistrate held that the sale was effected through the instrumentality of the plaintiffs, although they did not hctually complete it. Judgment was given for plaintiffs Tot £l2 XOs with £2 10s costa. Mr O. Beero appeared for the plaintiffs, and Mr-C. Nielson for the-defendant.
