A NOTABLE ADVANCE
BOLSHEVIKS REPULSED AND ROUTED. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright Australian and N.Z. Cable Association (Received June 6, 11.5 p.m.) LONDON, June 5. Reports from Warsaw state that the Polish armies are advancing victoriously between tho Dvina and tho Upper Bcrcsina, taking many prisoners. They repulsed Bolshevik attacks on a fortified position at Bzocvca, inflicting groat loss, and forcing the enemy to retire in confusion. The Roles captured two armoured trains which have been bombarding Kryzepol, in Ukraine. REVERSES REPORTED. GENERAL BOLSHEVIK ADVANCE. (Received June 7. 12.30 a.m.) LONDON. Juno 4. A general Bolshevik offensive has begun between the Pripet and tho Dnieper. Advanced Polish posts have been driven in, but hitherto tho Bolshevik success has been unimportant. “Red” attacks northward of the Pripet were roputae.d.
