ANGRY TEACHERS
STRONG RESOLUTION IN OTAGO
TEK TRESS ASSOCIATION. • DUNEDIN, Juno 4. At a special meeting of the Otago Educational Institute to-night, a resolution, was paesed a 6 follows: "That this mass meeting of .teachers in Otago, having regard to the long-pro-mised increase or salary to teachers, and recognising the lack of finality to and vaguenem of the Government's promises, expresses its strongest indignation at tho scant . consideration given, and demandii an immediate increase of 02} per 'cent, on salaries as at January, 1915, failing which it pledges itself to support its institute in any measures the institute may think iicccHsary."
