SOLDIERS' ASSOCIATION
QUESTION OF MEMBERSHIP,
ALL BRITISH VETERANS ELIGIBLE.
The New Zealand Returned Soldiers' Association has resolved that British veterans of. former wars should he admitted as active members of the association.
In support of the proposal it wasurged that now tha.t soldiers of tho "great war had had an opportunity of being repatriated it' was only right that a cordial welcome should, bo extended to tho British veterans of other wa.rs.
ill - E. F. Andrews (Bay of Islands) said that all South African veterans who were able had taken part in the great wan. Thero were veterans of other wars who would be {> rou <l *° wear the badge of the "New Zealand Returned Soldiers' Association," and an opportunity should bo accorded them to do so. (Applause.)
