COST OF ARMY OF OCCUPATION. - WHAT BRITAIN CLAIMS. Ans and N.Z. Cable Assn, and Reuter. LONDON, June 2. In tho House of Comjnons, replying to Mr Davison regarding the amount paid by Germany in connection with the Army of Occupation, Mr S Baldwin (Financial Secretary to tho Treasury) said that approximately four millions had been paid in local currency for use of tho occupying forces. The balance of tho British _clann to May 31st approximated £4o,000;000, to which it was estimated £2,730,000 would be added in respect to the rest of 1920-21. Tho question of payment rested with tho Reparations Commission.
