PvUNdMAN POST OFFICE ROBBERY.
FEB PRESS ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND, May 31. In connection with the robbery at tho Runeiman Post Office, Arthur Whitburn, aged 17, states that ho locked tho office at 5.30 p.m., and when riding homo on his bicycle a masked man bailed him up, producing a revolver and demanding the kevs of tho post office. The lad gave \ip tho keys, and then raised an alarm, but when neighbours reached the post officio they found the cash-box broken open, and no sign of the thief. Next morning a stolen bicvcle was found in the gorse at Papakura. A stolen cheque was found in Takanini road yesterday. The hootv'.comprised £3O in cash and £27 in cheques.
