The death occurred in Christchurch on Monday of Mrs Paterson, the widow of the late Rev.- James Paterson, of West Kempsey,. N.S.W., whom she married in 18f?3. She was born at Ipswich, Queensland,. at the time of her death. Mrs PaterGon came to New Zealand with her sou, the Rev. J. Paterson, of St. Paul s Church, some" years ago, and had resided with him iu Christchurch ever 1 since. She hnd a family of seven «ons and one daughter.
