It has been decided by the City Council to grant an application from the Wellington Returned Soldiers' Association for free passes on the trams for six months to men who have loii legs during tho war. An application from the nurses in the department of the Assistant Director of Medical Services for tho privilege has been declined. The authorities of the Alexandra Home are. however.. to be granted'passes''lor their district nuriw on the usual terma.
