In the-Supreme Court in Bankruptcy, as application for immediate discharge in the case of Edmund Peter Gill was opposed by counsel appearing for a Kaikoura creditor. Counsel said that bankrupt had posed as'a sharebroker, and his debts were £llBO, and his assets nil. This was tb» second bankruptcy of petitioner. Mr Justice Herdman said the circumstances were suspicious, and an adjournment would be mado till the next sittings in August, the Official Assignee to make further investigation and supply Hit Honour with a supplementary report of such investigation.
