THE MILK VENDORS
(To the Editor N.Z -Times. ) Sir,-'ln a previous letter -of Henry Bodley’a, he accuses me of being named James. There is just os much truth in this as in his many more serious accusations. I am very angry with the president of the Milk-vendors' Association. It is his cheerful insolence I object to. A very slow moving and conservative association, the Wellington City Council, found it necessary to pass legislation to deal with-it. The blatancy of this kindergarten president, who wants to run my business for me in the name of public interest, creates a feeling of nausea. The role of the great tribune is not for rou, for obvious reasons of bias. What you want. Henry, is a hobby, something ns a vent for your surplus energies, say, for instances, white mice or canaries. J. O’BRIEN. -May 27th, -1919.
