The Parliamentary Industries Committee sat in Masterton to-day. Questions concerning the deviation of the Kimutaka railway, hydro-electric power, woollen mills, railway surtax on timber, and development of resources by establishing light line railways to the backblockc, were presented by members ofi the Chamber of Commerce and others.
