SCHEME TO MAKE WORK MORE ATTRACTIVE.

INVERCARGILL, May 23. Speaking to a reporter, Sir James Allen stated that the Government will shortly make public details of a scheme for making miners' work more attractive. Ho added that though it was hoped to tide over the present coal shortage it might be necessary to still further restrict the train services.
