May J 7 Government troops have occupied Leipzig, and hold all the principal buildings. Martial law has been proclaimed, and the ■ Spartacist newspapers have been suppressed. . SPARTACISTS SURPRISED. SERIOUS DISTURBANCE! EXPECTED. BERLIN, May J2. Herr Noske's occupation of Leipzig was such a complete surprise that the Spartacists were unable to resist. The Spartacist leaders were arrested. Serious disturbances are expected owing to a threat by-the Workman's Councils to call a general strike, -and the wildest excitement prevails.
