NEW ZEALAND POTATOES
PERMITS FOR EXPORT. A stntement with regard to tho export of potatoes was made to a ''Times" reporter yesterday by the Hon. W. D. S. MacDonald, Acting-President of tho Board of Trade. The position of the potato market has recently been under consideration, said the Minister, and it has now been decided that applications for permits to export potatoes will be considered by tho Minister for Customs, the Hon. Arthur Myers, provided the shipment is made prior to June 30th.
