CONCLUSION OF RELIGIOUS CONFERENCE.

Tie conoludinir meetings in connection ■with the conference of the association lor the propagation of the truth of Canst s Second Coming were held on Bunday. The afternoon service was presided over bv the Eev. Dr. J. K. Elliott, and addresses -were delivered by Be v. W. «• Williams and Bev. H. G. Herons. In tie evening the Eev. A. A. Murray .spoke on the subject "The Coming of ..■pk™* in Relation to the Jews." / He said that he felt the conferonoe would not be complete without a short talk on the second comine of Christ in relation to the Jewish people. The Jewish nation was the most wonderful nation on the lace of the jrlobo.. They had ; been scattered throughout everv nation, hunted, persecuted, and outcast, but they were reawakeninsr to their national unity. The promises i*ade concerning; them in the Bible had not yefc been adequately, fulfilled, but he believed they would soon be. The Jews would return to Palestine, but their darkest hour was -yet to oome. Jerusalem, thousrh taken by the Allies without a shot, would be the scene of a terrible war. A political head would ariso and under him there would be a (Treat persecution. In this, aaxu: hour Christ would return for their, deliverance. His oominsr would also be the occasion of .their conversion and they wonld mourn for their former treatment of Him. Like thousands, of St. Pauls these converted Jews would oarry the Kospel to the ends of the earth.
