WEATHER PROSPECTS
(By the Dominion Meteorologist.)
Present indications (5 p.m. yesterday) are for south-east winds, strong to pale northwards of Farewell Spit and I'aikoura, and moderate to .strong and increasing elsewhere. Cold and boisterous weather may be expected with rain generally, and further heavy rain and rivers rising in many parts of the North Island; snow\on higher Teve's in the so.utti. Barometer falling, but rise everywhere shortly.
