IN MEMORIAM.

BAINES—In loving; memory of my dear brother, Walter Earnest, who died of wounds somewhere in Franco on May 20th, 1918.

A hero who will ever be His country's boast and pride, He shouldered his gun in honour's cause, And in the battle lie fell.

He has borne his cross, he has Rained his crown. Though he lies in a far-off grave. And we think of his life a clu/'tv done, Manly, unselfish and brave.
